FAQ
How is the Etsy transaction fee calculated?
Etsy charges 6.5% on the total order amount, including the shipping fee you charge the buyer — not just the item price.
What are Offsite Ads fees?
If Etsy shows your listing on Google or other partner sites and it sells within 30 days, Etsy takes 15% of the total order amount (item price plus shipping) — or 12% if you've made $10,000+ in sales over the past 365 days. The fee per order is capped at $100.
Does the calculator include shipping costs?
Yes. Enter what you charge the buyer for shipping and what shipping actually costs you — Etsy fees apply to the shipping amount too.
Are these rates up to date?
Rates on this page were verified against Etsy's published fee policy in September 2026 and cover the US marketplace. Note: the payment processing estimate doesn't include sales tax, so the actual fee can be a few cents higher.
Is this calculator really free?
Yes — no sign-up, no paywall. We keep it free and accurate for the seller community.
